Wanted to share this lil cutie I got from Ott’s Exotic Plants this week. Anyone that’s seen my previous posts is probably aware of how much I love jades, so finding this little one with all these branches from one stem for only $6.50 was too much to pass up. This brings my current jade count to 7…😂 Feel free to turn this into a thread sharing photos of any of your jade plants, or any tips you’d like to share with fellow jade owners. (And if anyone’s having trouble with their jade, I’d be happy to help troubleshoot 😉 they’re my favorite)

    I love Jades too!! The taller one in the photo is a cutting off my mother in laws 20+ year old Jade… been growing it for a few months now and love how randomly they grow!

      They’re all beautiful! That gollum one looks pretty big. About how old would you say it is?

      This was when I got it October 2022 🙂… I forgot how teeny it was!

      Wow! Looks like it really loves the spot it’s in! My biggest one’s Elena. Got her in May.

      I recently had to move it from its home as was too big for the window sill it was on, the blind and curtain would keep catching it and I feared it would fall off 😭 … so far though it does seem happy in its new spot 👍🏻 your Jade is so full!! I’ve got 2 in 1 pot one on its own so next year all 3 are going in one pot 😍

      This is her now. She’s been growing like a weed from all the separate plants she consists of, so I had to repot her.

    Wow! Agreed! For $6.50 it’s a steal.

      Ott’s is usually pretty fairly priced, especially given the quality of the plants. All their peperomia are around $7-9 dollars, so it’s really hard for me to NOT walk out with one 😂

      Ott’s? I quickly searched and there are lots of Ott’s restaurants near me. ☺️ Are you talking about the Ott’s in Schwenksville PA?

      Yeah, Ott’s Exotic Plants in Schwenksville. My grandmother used to go there, so my mom introduced me to the place a few months back. Really beautiful. Like an indoor botanical garden, except they let you buy the giant gorgeous plants. Took some photos of their bigger jades last time I went, actually.

      Oh, awesome! That reminds me of my grandmother’s jade. It’s about 3 1/2 feet tall, and at least 60 years old. My aunt gives the cuttings from when she prunes it away to her sisters and my cousins and I. I really hope to turn one of mine into a big one like hers
