Does my spider plant look happy? I canāt tell!
While I havenāt had a spider plant, just looking at the picture, it looks ok to me. It might just be drooping because of the way they grow.

2 gillningarI recently cut the babies from my parent plant as it looked like all it's energy was going to the babies. The parent plant soon perked up. I then popped a baby into a new pot so I didn't feel too guilty š Your plant looks healthy enough to me but maybe remove some or all of the babies.
1 gillaThere is no need to cut the spider babies if the mother plant is getting sufficient light, water and nutrients. Iāve seen older spider plants in a nursery that was loaded with spider babies. I have this variety of spider plant with the bright white leaves with less green than the common spider plant. It likes bright filtered sunlight or early morning east light. A grow light added to it will help quite a lot. I fertilize mine twice a month with 50 percent diluted Miracle Gro fertilizer with added SuperThrive plants vitamins. I water when the leaves start to droop slightly. The plant in my photo perked up from a recent watering. The dry tips are from when it got too dry and damaged during delivery. The center leaves are the shorter new growth.

If itās OK Iād like to put my two cents in as I have 3 thriving spider plants. To me it looks like the stems of the babies are yellow which means you need to cut the stems off at the root. You should also trim off all the yellow leaves as they are taking away from the health of the plant. I think if you do that, make sure itās watered, fertilized and in the right light I think it will perk right up and new babies will come before you know it. Here are mine. The first two pics are 2 that are about 16 years old and I took one of those apart last summer (bottom left pic) and shared 6 big cuttings with others as well as Iāve given over a 100 babies away over the years. Iāll be taking the other original apart next month and do the same. The last pic (bottom right) is my newest one. A friend gave it to me a little over a year ago, it was just a baby she cut for me. Like ok at it now!
