   That is so interesting Ive never seen anything like it, what is it. I assume some kind of flowering plant based on what looks like a bulb but Ive been wrong many times lol

     It’s an amaryllis. After seeing this I retrieved mine from the garage. It’s been in dormancy for a couple months. Hope it didn’t get too cold. You should be seeing displays of these everywhere now. Hers has a wax coating over the bulb. That’s relatively new. Mine was in soil in a pot when I bought it a year ago. I’m going to try and get it to rebloom.

     I just brought mine out last Friday. Had to set a reminder lol. Bought it last year in wax just like this one and potted it for the spring/summer. Fingers crossed it blooms but she looks very nice once I cleaned off all the dead parts. Hoping for a Christmas bloom.
