Has anyone seen this before? This peace lily grows like a weed so I’m wondering if she’s trying to tell me she needs a bigger pot

My lily blooms pretty regularly, it’s summer now so it’s in her second bloom atm. I don’t think it’s anything unusual but I’m not an expert.
1 me gustaYes mine blooms a ton!! I’ve never seen this double sheathed one tho, this is a first for me
0 Me gustaAaah sorry, I misunderstood your post initially. I get it now but I haven’t seen double spathes before!

Mine did that a couple times. From what I've read, it's a unique genetic mutation often occurring in cultivated varieties. While often just a random, one-time anomaly, double spathe can be triggered by hormonal changes or, in rare cases, specific fertilizers used to force blooming. Often this is a one time occurrence, but if it continues to produce double spathes, it's highly unique, stable, or fixed mutation.
2 Me gustaGorgeous!! Thank you for the lesson!! I just thought it was so funny looking and had to ask

Thank you,so is yours. It's definitely interesting. I just had the same thing happen to one of my alocasias., and my golden bone was doing all kinds of yoga poses. 😆

You're welcome! She can definitely be a drama queen, but regardless, she's one of my favs too.
