Realized I never posted anything about my trailing jade plant (senecio jacobsenii/kleinia petraea). She’s not actually a jade, but her leaves resemble one, and I have yet to see anyone else with one on this app, so if you have one, or any trailing plants you’d like to share in the comments, feel free to turn this into a trailing jade/trailing plant thread! 😊 For anyone looking for a hardier trailing plant to try, I’ve had her since June and she hasn’t given me any trouble whatsoever. She’s a fairly slow grower, and I treat her like any other succulent; bottom-watered, potted in cactus and succulent mix, getting lots of sun in my south-facing windowsill. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a low-maintenance plant. 🌱

It’s beautiful! 😻 Lovely pot. My first time seeing this plant. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you 😊 I bought her off Etsy, and the only other place I’ve seen her is at Ott’s Exotic Plants, but she came in really great condition despite the trip through the mail. The pot is literally just a tomato can I’m using as a cover pot to keep her leaves from touching the windowsill, but if you drill holes in the bottom, they make pretty neat homemade pots💡that can’s been the cover pot rite of passage for most of my nursery plants at some point 😂 used to be my 30 year old jade’s home, then my variegated jade’s apartment before her recent upgrade.

I had one and its trail was at least 3 feet. I gave it away when I moved from Utah to Arizona in May. I had posted pictures of it but I do t know how to find my past posts on this app. They are beautiful plants.

Oh, wow! Mine’s at just under 10 inches so far. Have any good tips you’d like to share? As for getting your photos back, perhaps if you used the name of the type of plant it was in your posts, you could search for it through the search button in the top right corner of the groups page.

Nice sunny location my sat in a south facing bedroom window on the sill, so it had room to drape down. Not too much water
