A month ago, I was wrongfully terminated from what I truly believed was my dream career. I worked hard to get there, so losing it the way I did sent me into a depression that I honestly wasnāt prepared for. Then I bought one plant. šŖ“ It wasnāt supposed to become a āthing.ā I just needed something positive, something to take care of while I was trying to figure out how to take care of myself again. Somehow, that one plant became two⦠then five⦠and now, less than a month later, I have well over 10 plants. šš± Learning about them, checking their roots, figuring out their lighting, watching for new growth, repotting them, and yes⦠giving every single one of them a name š has given me something healthy to pour my energy into. Iām still processing what happened. Iām still figuring out what comes next. But my little indoor jungle has reminded me that losing one chapter of your life doesnāt mean you stop growing. Sometimes new growth starts in the most unexpected places. š±š
