I bought this jewel orchid online for $30 and I'm the queen of cheap so that usually doesn't happen. I had to repot it today and I had to use a mix that I hadn't used before, moss, perlite and orchid back. I was so worried because I know they can be "picky" but I think it came out ok. We'll see. That little one separated so I potted it up for my niece.

1 likeLooks like you did everything correctly. I've found my jewel orchids to be very easy-going, easy care plants. The one issue I've had was one made leaves concerningly slowly, and just giving it a bit more light fixed that
