      I also love monsteras but alocasias are pretty up there as well! I always propagate in water, I let the stems dry out overnight and then put in water,and I usually propagate any plant with a philodendron or pothos to boost the root growth. I’ve almost always gotten roots with any type of plant using this method, I also sometimes use distilled water.

      Ok thanks! I will try the pothos. Do I need roots on the pothos?
