I was wondering if it was starting to look leggy. I have it in an east facing window (that gets morning sun and indirect light the rest of the day) at the moment. Do they just need regular trimming regardless?

I would say so. I originally had mine in a NE window with a grow light and after a couple months she stated to get leggy so I moved her to a SW window that gets a few hours of direct and bright indirect as the sun moves across the window and she’s still super leggy. I’ve been trimming her enough to get props to fill out her pot and then I’m going to cut her really long leggy stems once the props have taken.

Flowers are cute but if you trim the flowers off it will live longer. polkadot plant is not a long lived plant to begin with and from what I've read about it to flower signals it's done with its job. Your plant looks really cute in that pot, the pink really compliments plant colors.

Aww really 😞 I’ve only had this one for about a month so maybe I’ll try propagating

Don't give up on it yet! Just snip those flowers off and you should be good for a couple years.

Oh really? Dang! Mines flowered three or 4 times and she’s a year old. Do you know how long they’re supposed to live? Maybe that’s why I can’t keep her from not being leggy!

I guess I don't know anything for sure but I've read that they live one to two years in pots.

Oh really that short! Guess I should enjoy her whole I can! I didn’t know they had such a short lifespan!
