What are your guys’ opinions on burro’s tails and strings of pearls? I’m conflicted on which one I’ll want next 😅

I have both and I think they are equally amazing. If I had to pick one to start, I’d choose the Burro’s Tail… it’s a little easier to care for.

I agree. They are just such slow growers, so people can get frustrated by that!

I loved my string of pearls. It’s so cute. Just annoying if you like to hang / reposition it as beads can fall off. It was too high maintenance for me to keep it how I liked it to look, so I left it at my last apartment 🥺

I personally prefer burro’s tail and sedum morganianum as they’re much easier to care for (at least in my experience, and I’ve heard they’re quite finicky with other plant owners). I also like sedum morganianum a bit more than sedum burrito, as they have more of a pointed banana type shape that looks more like tiny echeveria leaves than the bean shaped leaves of the burrito. Burrito and morganianum in particular are really nice in the sense that if you ever lose a leaf you can literally pop it on top of the soil and it’ll easily propagate and help you fill in any gaps between the leaves on its own. Here’s my sedum morganianum, Xochi.
