I got my monstera from home depot and it’s been thriving for 2 years now! Yours looks like it has good sunlight, so it should be perfect :) Also the new growths look very strong and happy! Yours is gonna grow big in no time, these plants are the best 💚

Here’s mine! He came from a local grower on OfferUp last year and he was quite small. There are actually four stems in the pot which I like because it makes it really full quickly. These guys will stop growing when you disturb their roots so whenever you repot, be prepared for no growth for months while they fill their new pot with roots, and then they’ll grow again, and fast. They like being a little rootbound. 😉

I just noticed that brightest green leaf in front already has secondary fenestrations. That’s amazing! Your plant is probably going to double in size easily this year. I can’t believe you got that plant at Home Depot!! It’s gorgeous! My bigger one-year-old plant (above) doesn’t even have secondary fenestrations yet!

My monstera is between 15 and 20 years old. I can’t remember where I bought her. She’s been living her second life after almost dying from a freeze a year ago and miraculously regrowing last April. This is her last picture.

I have mines with a grow light stand next to it. My piece of advice from a mistake I’ve made is don’t overwater!!! Always check your soil before watering

Yes, they are draught tolerant and actually like to get pretty dry between waterings or they get root rot.
