Donāt be embarrassed at all! We all gonna learn and all still areā¤ļø Looks like a Dracaena fragrans or a Corn plant! Iāve not had great luck with them tbh lol. I only had one as a beginner when I first started loving plants but I think my main problem was over watering! All that to say, if it dies lol youāre not aloneš Some people have better luck and worse luck with certain plantsā¤ļø My advise is that if the roots are in good shape then she should grow. I canāt tell how big the pot it by the angle but big jumps in pot size sometimes can slow growth down for a bit, but nothing to worry about. You are doing an amazing job! The substrate looks great! The leaves will take time to grow š·
3 gillningarThank you so much! I repotted the plant, weāll see if it helps!
2 gillningarLooks like mines a corn plant
1 gillaIām pretty sure itās a dracaena. I also saw some people in the comments say it might be a corn plant but I donāt think so because of its stem pattern and leaf color. Iād take off those bottom dead leaves and maybe repot it to a smaller pot with different soil. The soil looks a bit dead and dry. If youāre not comfortable with repotting which is totally fine Iād give it some water because it looks very dry. Itās totally fine to be new to plants and Iām just glad you are now giving it the care it needs :)
