    Definitely too soon. Wait until they start to brown.

    what does cutting them do?

    The flower used to be white. I can tell it’s slowly dying. From research, cutting (deadheading) redirects energy towards new flower growth elsewhere

      If you look closely in the second photo, you can see a white flower blooming behind the green one
