Mama pilea and her offspring! Just repotted 3 littles into a shared pot to make watering easier but if they get like their mama then Iâm in trouble hehe. Also, on the small single one some of the leaves are speckled⊠what is this? They all live in a west window and the one in the white/green pot isnât as close to the window as the others.
Mine are speckling like this too, following along to see what the answer is!

I believe it might be mineral deposits from the water youâre using.
Thank you but Iâm not sure this is what it is. The speckles are on the top and theyâre not bumpy⊠itâs kind of like a variegation đ€·đŒââïž very odd. I initially thought sunburn?
0 gillningar Youâre welcome, that is odd. Maybe something to do nutrients or damage. :/ mine grow outside I havenât seen them do this before.
Itâs most likely as mentioned mineral deposits looks like crystallized salts ect to change that I would recommend using dechlorinated/ conditioned water which can be done with aquarium conditioner itâs actually very good for the plant as it helps rid of chlorine and chloramines which can burn the plant
2 gillningar Or could be edema from overwatering not 100 percent sure tho
