got my first plant today for the new apartment! I think she’s a Dieffenbachia “camilla” and she’s soo pretty.

    Beautiful Camilla! Just a heads up, if you don't already know, dieffenbachia are highly toxic. Make sure she's out of reach of any kids/pets and wear gloves when handling or wash your hands well if you don't want to wear gloves. Taking an antihistamine and drinking a large glass of milk or water will help if you do happen to ingest any sap (ask me how I know 😂)

      wow thank you so much, I had no idea! I’m very new to keeping plants (all of my cacti die) and the people in the shop never mentioned anything about it being poisonous! Great tip with the milk hahaha, must’ve been an awful way to find out!

      No problem! I don't learn lessons, so I've numbed my mouth and tongue several times on both my dieffenbachias over the years 🫣😅
