I’m visiting my mom and she has this guy on her table. I’m not sure what it is but it doesn’t look happy. What can I do to help while I’m here? Thanks!

    That’s a pineapple plant! They always look a little rough but I might repot it with into something with a little more drainage. They like to dry out a bit.

    I will tug a little on to it to see if has rooted ? If offers résistance it is, if it comes out of the soil it might not be rooted enough and a good idea will be to put and a cactus soil to keep in the dryer side

    Also you can plug the lower leaves that are dry or yellowing to get more contact with the soil and cut the tip of the leaves that are yellow also for a better look
