   My plant likes to be completely dried out between waterings, I’ve lost a few leaves from edema. I just use regular tap water but we have decent water in my town. Mine is under a grow light ~12 hrs a day. fertilized once a month during the growing season. I LOVE the low variegation birkins, she’s beautiful!

     Thanks a lot! Do you know if philodendrons are sensitive to minerals in water? My water comes from a well so it’s pretty hard. I use distilled for some of my pickier plants, should i do the same for this one??

     I don’t believe they are particularly sensitive to hard water but I have noticed that I do get some mineral deposits on the birkin leaves. My Florida bronze is hydroponic in the same water and I don’t have any issues with her.
