I want to know if the coco coir poles work for these, like my pothos like? I can't do Moss poles
0 Me gustaI’m sure it would! I just have extra moss pole containers that I can fill with sphagnum, so that’s been my go to. But if you do try the coco coir let me know how it works!
1 me gustaI use anything I can stake them to and have never used moss poles. While I think moss poles are probably wonderful — I don’t have the time or energy or space for the plant they might create 😳. The coco coir seem to give mine something to grab hold of and they’re doing great. I also have used outdoor trellis and they like that too 🤦♀️🤓😃
1 me gustaI’ve never used anything other than moss pole but totally agree about the effort and the size the plants can grow to. I’m in my “obsessed with massive plant” era and trying to grow all my climbers into giants! We’ll see how it goes hahaha
0 Me gustaI definitely will 🩷🪴
0 Me gustaOh yeah I forgot about the trellis I was going to do that I think all my monkey mask monstera thank you for reminding me yeah I'm too short and too blind for Moss poles LOL
1 me gustaPeople keep telling me not to use them for monsteras and I'm wondering why
0 Me gustaMight be because they’ll be more difficult to unravel the arial roots should you need to repot? If it works for you then get after it though! Everyone has their own opinions, doesn’t mean you have to listen to them 😂
