Is my maranta worth saving? She did grow a new leaf and also is attempting another one. But the plant looks very floppy and is starting to yellow .. thoughts?

Maybe she’s also sad because she needs a repot and different soil? I know calatheas drink water as fast as you give it, so I’ve never kept one alive 🥲

Thank you!! And yes, her soil was SUPER compacted when I took her out of it .. so I’m a put her in some water (another suggestion from someone else) and then I may transfer her back to soil when I know she’s healthy enough.

Check the roots. Mine started to decline and all the wilting ones started to turn yellow and die off. I checked the roots. The yellow leaves were all from the same vine. I removed the entire vine and the rest of the plant seems to be doing well. I agree with the other comment about the possibility of needing a repot too.

Yes! Thank you for that. I did take her out of the soil yesterday and looked at the roots. I took away the yellowing leaves with the roots attached from them and put her in water. I’m a wait a little bit for her to perk back up before potting her back into some soil
