All of the airheads had a nice soak today! Iām obsessed with the bloom on my big one, and my old manās beard is very happy since I pruned out the brown pieces. Whatās your favorite air plant? :)

Very cool! I havenāt tried air plants. Kinda fell into the world of dirt head first and havenāt looked back. Whereās a good spot to start?

They donāt require soil or a base, in nature they grow on other plants/ materials I think, there are hundreds of varieties! Water very infrequently, I do once a month or when they start to accumulate dust. To water get a big bowl full of (I use purified) water and add your water-soluble fertilizer of choice. Then plop them in and let them sit for a while, when you take them out leave them upside down for at least an hour (I leave mine under a grow light for an hour) so they donāt have any water pooling in the crevices. Theyāre a great sit and forget kinda plant
