Anyone try planting a Madagascar palm in just lecheza pon I have to repot my large Madagascar palm in the spring and thinking of putting it in lechuza pon in a lechuza self watering pot any one ever try this.

    I've tried self watering pots and I personally don't like them. I do like pots that are "self watering" but really have a humidity tray beneath them and an opening for water. This way the plants get air from underneath and you can access the bottom of the pot. Just a thought

      Why thank you that’s my pride and joy plant in my collection even the white flowers are still looking nice on top I think when I go to repot it to play it safe so I don’t kill it. I’ll just use a regular pot with good cactus soil and mix lacuza pon in the soil so it is super well draining

    That’s a very niche question - I love it. I have the tall one and the one behind it in a really heavy pumice/some soil/random pebbles. They need a lot of drainage capacity.

    You should try a terracotta pot and I think your plant is gorgeous so you don’t need to do anything to it
