My brand new little party animal, what I’ve learned is a bloodleaf “party time” or party time alternanthera. Any tips on this plant?! Sure is fun to look at! 💅

      Thank you!! It’s now to me, too! Saw it today at a local plant shop and it took me a minute to get the ID right. I’m curious to learn more as I go!

    I just got one of these recently and just ordered another one. I’m still trying to get to know it, so far, I know it does not like direct sun or to dry out.

      Great tips! Thank you!! I have it 4ft ish from a window for now -and indirectly under a grow light- so we shall see if I’ve overdone it! Sounds like maybe 😅 Also, love your username

    One more thing I’ve learned, it can get leggy if you don’t prune it regularly.

      Ugh!!! I feel you! I hate pruning, it hurts my heart! 😫 but it’s so beneficial to so many plants

    I’ve had one for a few months now. Wasn’t doing well. Dropped almost all its leaves. It’s been in leca for over a month and is now doing well.

      Oooo good to know! Thank you! I haven’t planted with leca yet but have heard it can make all the difference for fussy plants

      Definitely will be looking this one up! I found it interesting when people said the pink nerves were dramatic but no one was kidding 😝 they really become apart of us somehow 😂
