Update: Turns out this is a Fishbone Prayer Plant, not a Peacock Plant. Appreciate all the kindness, support and knowledge of this group! My Peacock Plant is flowering! Did not know this was a thing! I was wondering what these tall stemmed jagged shoots were - they pop out these tiny, little yellow & white flowers😊

At least the flowers are pretty! I didn’t know my baby rubber flowered as they look like spikes LOL not so attractive and scared me at first 🤣

Didn’t know that baby rubbers flowered either! I banned myself from even looking at all rubber plants as apparently my eyes are enough to sever leaves from the stems😂. Good to know someone is good with them though!

lol!! How so?? I almost just recently killed mine tbh from overwatering. I pruned the dead roots and carefully separated the bulb and it’s back in business 😍 lol it’s getting super tall and awkward in the height - not sure what to do lol

    This is so pretty. I don’t think it’s a peacock plant though. I think it’s a ctenanthe burle-marxii (a fishbone prayer plant).

Oh my goodness, I actually wondered about this, especially given the flowers. Thank you for helping me with this mystery! I’ll have to leave it in my Planta app as is - otherwise I lose all of the history.☹️. Unless there is a way to do that on the app?

I think you can if you go to the plant settings > plant > plant type

Thank you again!!! It totally worked! I’m fairly new to this app - not a year yet and haven’t had to use this feature until now. Now I know and hopefully it’s the last time I need to use it!😂
