Those little water droplets you see hanging off the leaf tips aren’t dew — they’re due to guttation. It happens when the soil is well-hydrated and the plant releases excess moisture through tiny pores at the leaf edges. With all this Tule fog the Central Valley has been living in lately, the sun has been almost nonexistent so evaporation is slow and humidity has been high. My plants are holding onto more moisture and pushing it out where they can. Kind of cool how what’s happening outside directly affects the plants inside 🌫️💧

    Every time I water my pothos they do this. So cool how they always know just how much water they need!

    One of my pothos lives in my aquarium and I tell her she's my most toddler-like plant; she's always a bit sticky because of guttation 🤣
