how much light does it get? my h. obovata (variegata) is one of my fastest growing plants overall, and the fastest growing hoya. hoya require lots more light and water than most people give them. south facing windows are perfect for hoya in my climate, and those in 4ā pots usually get water every week or two, once the bottom leaves begin to feel a little limp

Hm.. Maybe heās wasnāt getting enough light then. I just moved him to an east facing window spot, that has a partially shaded south facing window. But maybe he needs more?? I need to experiment with hanging baskets I think

Yes. The name is hilariously adorable. ššš One thing about Hoya is that they only grow when 1. Theyāve established a healthy root system and 2. They feel comfortable in their environment. Try increasing the light and give it a stake. I canāt tell you how many Times Iāve had a tendril just get longer and longer and wonāt push out leaves until i attach it to a trellis or it finds something to attach itself to.

You could use a stick, pencil, etc. for now until a tendril grows. You just was to give it a support for now.
