My prayer plant lost all the leaves and after Christmas that I wasn’t at home this is what is left. I would like to save it, but seems dry even though I moister and watered it

I have trouble with these in the winter as well. How old was it? I’ve never had one live more than 2 years, but when it starts to go, I am able to propagate it. Take a living node and put it in a clear glass jar with water. Keep the water clean and place the plant in a bright area, it should sprout roots by spring and you can pot it in May/June.

0 LikesDo you think I can propagate using the long branch with nodes shown in the picture, even though there are not too many leaves left?

Yes, as long as the branch is green and has a node you should be good, give it a solid three months in water and it should grow a healthy root system
1 LikeYes the branch is still green and has a lot of nodes

These are sensitive to lime in water and need to be watered with distilled water.
