has it been repotted, what kind of soil is it in? there should be a lot more perlite than there is in that mix for drainage. alocasia like to be damp for a little then completely dry before watering, in my experience. alocasia in general love high humidity but especially variegated ones. to preserve the white color there has to be consistent humidity and you can water with silica to make cell walls stronger so the white does not brown.
0 Me gustaTY - I did repot with mixture of miracle grow potting soil with perlite and orchid bark. It lives on the screened porch no direct light in Florida so lots of humidity. I think it got over watered an never recovered
1 me gustaAlso I always use rain water
1 me gustaah yes, that can happen. that’s one thing too with the high humidity; the soil stays wet longer so it’s easier to over water. what i can say to do is remove it from the pot and rinse and trim all dead rotted roots. put it in a jar with water enough to cover the rhizome and pray. the humidity in florida should be enough to help it recover since it won’t have any roots/very little.

Have you fertilized her? This happened to me with my alocasia and I learned that unless soil nitrogen is regularly replaced through fertilizer, nitrogen deficiencies turn plant leaves yellow or pale green. You could also try placing her in direct light during morning sun, it won’t be too hot to burn her.
0 Me gustaTy I did Fertilize but haven’t put it in sun
0 Me gustaTy everyone for your concern just for an update she is totally gone to the graveyard. Pulled it out of the dirt and the bulb was mussy inside 😭
