This is the penultimate mention of the plants I stumbled upon over the weekend, but I’m still a little wide-eyed. Astrophytum grown from seed, in a window, in Northern Utah. Respect. I repeated “wait, you grew these?” a few times until giving a “we’re not worthy” gesture. I did hold back from asking to be adopted. This plant is straight-up sci-fi. Note my coffee mug. These plants are huge.

0 likes South window, watered once per month, and water with a syringe to keep the tops attractive. And maybe magic. I didn’t pry too much because I was already at the point of mania lol.
