    It will survive! I took mine from a dying pot to gloriously shinning on a palm tree!! Vines took over while we were on vacation but we cleaned her up and she is fabulous! This is after four years. She was a dying twig when I attached her to my palm tree

      Here she is today! She flowers every couple of months! She starts in May for mothers day!
