DanikaLet me know how long this lasts for youā¦ i suspect this variety is one of the ones you need super high humidity (could be mistaken) right? Like a grow tent or some kind of terrarium set up. There is a reason thats been on my wish list forever but not actually purchased. So pretty!

The lady I got it from kept it in 50-60% humidity. It is in pon, though, which I think helps a lot in maintaining that moisture. Fingers crossed I can keep it thriving š¤š» I do have a cabinet that stays around 80%, so I might put her in there if I see her struggle. For now, I want to test it out and see how she does in my ambient humidity (60%).

Keep us updated on this! Its so interesting to meā¦ so many sellers on etsy iām finding all say terrarium is best for this one. But then was also watching a rare begonia collector (in japan i think?) who had hundreds of rare species all basically acclimated to living in largely ambient humidity. I never know how real the suggestions are. All i know is the last rare begonia i got (chloristicata) melted and died within weeks of having it and i kept it in a glass dome. Part of me thinks it would have done better in the open air. š¤·š»āāļø
