Not at all! To be honest they are just as easy as my regular Frydeks. I have two of each ๐ I do have both of my variegated Frydeks in high humidity (above 70%) so Iโm not sure how they would perform in regular room humidity but Iโve heard from other fellow plant people that they have theirs in regular humidity and they do just as great ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
