Omg, beautiful! I may or may not have stalked Kenny’s history. I just adopted a ficus lyrata & am wondering if you have any tips :) He’s so beautiful!!

make sure your fiddle gets sun on all sides or that you rotate it to make sure all of its leaves get sun at some point in the day!! before I moved houses, the only place I had for kenny was a little window in an attic space where I was staying. he thrived pretty well in low light, but he dropped leaves on the side that wasn’t getting enough sun. as for watering, I’ve noticed mine to be pretty low-maintenance. I just pour the amount of an entire plastic water bottle into his pot and he’s good to go until I notice that the top of his soil is drying out again! but, the amount will totally depend on the size of your fiddle. kenny is about 4 ft 7”. when he was closer to 4 ft I gave him 3/4 of a water bottle. also make sure to clean the leaves frequently! because of their large leaves they often collect dust, which can prevent them from photosynthesizing as well. I usually use water & a microfiber towel, or leaf shine if I have it. finally, fiddles grow fast. make sure you’re checking the roots and repotting when you start to notice any signs of cramping in the pot. hope this helps! good luck!

Thank you so much!!🥲🥲 this is really helpful & just what I was needing. It can be hard to understand what needs to be done as there is a lot of varied advice online, so seeing little Kenny & ur advice put together feels super solid. I really appreciate it!!
