“The Gasteria little warty is a small, uniquely shaped succulent. Also known as Lawyer’s tongue, Cow tongue, or Ox tongue for the thick bumpy tongue-shaped leaves” The bloom is last winter, and it happened fast. It was obnoxious and gorgeous, and something that made moving anything around my plant space a “don’t bump the flower” few months. Now it’s focused on getting those tiny leaves up and going.

My neighbor’s Haworthia bloomed like this the month before, and I was jealous - because I gave it to her! Really, though, moving it around was ridiulous

Most of them came up in a few weeks. It’s really cute.

The stalk poked up one day, grew a few more inches that week, and then shot up until I had to move decorations etc. It was another “I can’t believe that happened” mental high five. Congratulations on the new addition.

I just read aloud your user name, which I was previously reading as Leaf Malone 😀
