Unfortunately, orchids these days are sold more as cut flowers than as long-term plants to keep after the flowers die. If you want this orchid to bloom again, and keep it long-term, the best thing to do is remove it out of the substrate it comes in immediately after purchasing from the store and meticulously remove all packed moss and go through all of the roots and cut away any and all rotted roots. It looks like yours is very dehydrated and probably isn’t absorbing moisture due to the roots being smashed in a pot with no air for so long. So when you repot it put it in a very light and airy orchid, bark mix substrate, and a pot that has holes in the side so that I can breathe. You may have to put a bag over the whole plant to humidify the leaves back into action after you deal with the root situation. There are tons of YouTube videos with tutorials on how to do this which is a great visual reference.

I bought the exact same ones in purple from Costco! Fortunately, some people here gave me that same advice about repotting right away—and now they’re doing great! One of the leaves is discolored from being folded double, but other than that, they’re thriving! Inside the white pot, they’re in two tiny plastic pots jam packed with bark. I put mine in sphagnum moss in large glass vases and water them about once every nine days. Good luck—these are beautiful plants if you have the patience to let them recover. 💚
