look at my Black Magic 🌱🖤 should i cut off her feont leaf?? it makes me sentimental its the only leaf she had when i got her 🥺

    I would. It’s going to die anyway and it makes the rest of the plant which is pretty much perfect look less than perfect. You could press it and put it between glass and hang it on the wall if you’re really sentimental about keeping it. I’m one of those terrible people who don’t allow ugly leaves to exist in their home. All ugly leaves must go. They’re just plants. Not puppies. Ugly puppies get to stay. I love all the ugly puppies.

    I sometimes will tie up Alocasia/Colocasia leaves when I’m on the fence about cutting them. Take some ribbon and make a little cris cross corset to pull the leaf up to a place that looks good. Cut it off if it starts to look worse.
