Picked up this Chinese evergreen at Walmart about a month ago. It has brown tips even on new growth I started watering with filtered water and adding fertilizer, but I’ve seen no improvement any tips?

maybe try misting it every day. i’ve got a couple plants that’ll do the same thing if i don’t keep it in a humidified environment

Probably under watering?? This happened to my Chinese evergreen and my friend told me to water a bit more often. Fixed my problem! I hope this helps~

i have a chinese evergreen also! and i figured out the best way to keep it alive is by making sure it is always watered well and has sun/shade lighting. i usually water it ever 4-5 days because the soil doesn’t dry out quickly

I just put it in a much smaller pot as the root ball was way to small for the previous pot so hopefully that will help with I think overwatering as the soil never really dried out

brown tips on the fresh growth can indicate overfertilizing
