Someone just gave me this snake plant. I repotted it. The roots seem so little, short, and fragile. It doesn’t look bad but also kept falling over and looks droopy. Does it look normal? Any advice ?

Were the roots mushy or brown by chance? If so it might be because of previous root rot. Just have a well draining succulent or cactus soil and hold back on the watering! I like to hold mine back up to even a month. For snake plants its better to underwater than overwater. Do that and she’ll be fine in a few weeks

Sounds good. It wasn’t mushy… probably closer to brown. I think a lot of them got broken up when I repotted. Maybe that’s because of root rot
