My advice is to find out what type of plant parent you are, meaning if you have a tendency to overwater or underwater. Also, research the individual plant you have! And definitely find some plant care resources. Summer Rayne Oakes’ Houseplant 101 playlist on YouTube is very helpful! I also like Benji Plant.

Oh, and beware of allowing soil to become too compact. Roots need oxygen! Use a chopstick or skewer to aerate the soil every few weeks.

I don’t know where you’re located but just a quick tip is to make sure you don’t expose any sensitive tropical plants to cooler night time temperatures. Other than that, it’s good to remember that learning to grow plants can take time and some experience. It’s okay to fail and I think most experienced growers have lost countless plants 🙂

My favorite tip I learned is that overwatering is because of frequency, not quantity. Feel free to drench your plants, but maintain a suitable interval between watering <3 ✨🌱
