I dead headed my pothos a couple moths back and have it propagating in a wine bottle, but I left the roots and stem to grow back and it’s coming back with a very different variegation. This has happened before with a snake plant I propagated too. Plants are wild 🥰
Really pretty pothos! Wanted to share that snake plant cuttings (without the base) revert to the original plant after propping for some reason regardless of which it is. They don’t grow true to the cuttings 🥲🥲
1 j'aime Oh I didn’t know it depended on the base, I took a clipping from my bosses plant and thought it was a 50/50 if the variegation changed with the propagation
1 j'aime Yeah I learned the hard way haha. They all revert to the OG plant without the roots. 🤔
