    I have found in the past that 30 is my personal limit. I love the plants and this hobby but there is something to be said about overwhelm. 😅 I’m so impressed with those of y’all that have more than that!

    I hover right around 40 which feels good for me. I don't count outdoor pots or garden beds.

    Oh my. I think I have too many. I was around 200 several months ago. Down to about 150 now. In process of reducing even more. Aiming for 100 or less. But the vast majority are succulents which are much smaller than tropicals. I’m redoing my craft room and will keep the vast majority in there. I’m also going to help alleviate vacation issue by having my tropicals in semi hydro. I’m selling many of my plants or giving to family and friends. I’m making time for some other interests.

      I feel ya! I’ve sold and gifted some recently and am throwing away cuttings (most of the time). Between my 70+ house plants and multiple garden beds I find I have scant time left for studies and other interests. I’m shifting towards a survival-of-the fittest approach. If they (I’m looking at you, Calathea orbifolia) can’t survive me signing out for two weeks, they are getting kicked off the island. I’ve got other things to do! 🏍️⛰️📚 Of course, this is a work in progress 😅

    I have 8 😂 but I live in a basement apartment with limited plant space so I’ll just enjoy what I got for now until I have a place with natural light 🫠
