0 gillningarHappy birthday! This was also my first Hoya earlier this year! Iāve found the following to be helpful: - I keep her a few feet away from a south window (Iām in the north east of the USA so if you are in different area that might be too much sun). - I use orchid spray to fertilize, I spray it onto the leaves and on top of the substrate before watering.
3 gillningarthank you!! yea i live on the east coast so not too far but i will take the sun note i think thatās the only thing i havenāt quite figured out yet
1 gillaHereās a recipe for DIY Hoya mist. My Hoyas THRIVE since Iāve been using it. I used to buy orchid spray but hated the cost so I found this recipe. Iāve been using it for about 9 months. Every so often I post this screenshot of a prior post of mine from this app. Out of all 150 of my plants, Hoyas have quickly become my fav. They are sooooo fun to watch grow. š Good luck!! š Iāll find a āthenā and ānowā pic of my Lacunosa. The difference is amazingā¦..partly because of the Hoya mist.
1 gillathank you so much!
