      I follow Planta’s care advice, but I sowed two seeds per pod, planted ~1/8 in deep in coco coir. They’re under a SANSI 10W grow light for 14 hours every day. On day 14 there had been no sprouts yet, so I used a fine paintbrush and dusted off the seeds a little bit until I saw the growth on each one. I left them all a bit unearthed, they all popped the next morning, and have been growing so well since!!

    So cool!! How did you come by PT palm seeds? And maybe more importantly— how are you keeping your cats from eating the leaves? I have three and they’ve given my PT palm a “bowl cut.” 😭

      I got all my seeds from plantfix and have been very happy with them. Also, they’re in humidity domes right now which keeps the cats away. No telling what happens once they’re out of the domes though.
