Benny, my banana plant, doesn’t seem to be doing too well. Any thoughts?

The soil looks like it was dry so long that it pulled away from the pot leaving gaps between the pot and the soil. You need to expand the soil again to block the gaps or the water will run between the gaps without fully watering the roots. I recommend bottom watering until the top soil is moist. This will soak all of the soil. Let the soil dry down a couple of inches before watering again. Continue bottom watering each time until the gap closes. Banana plants need lots of light. Give it at least 8 hours of full sunlight or 12 hours under a good grow light. Fertilize regularly in the warm months. 🍀🪴
