They are bog plants so they enjoy being left in about 1-2 inches of standing water. Make sure you are only giving them RO or rain water as the TDS of tap water is too high and will kill the plant. Do not fertilize! Keep humid :) Should be good to go!

2 Me gustaIf you keep inside and need to feed, only feed them once every 4-6 weeks during spring/summer and only feed 1 or 2 traps at a time. Try to alternate which traps you feed each time. If you use dried or live meal/blood worms, make sure they are only a third of the size of the trap or it will take too much energy to digest. Its okay when traps turn black and die, just prune those at the base and it will push out new ones. They go into and NEED to go into dormancy for the winter. I love my traps🙌. Good luck
2 Me gustaThank you! I had seen mixed information about feeding- I’ve seen once a week, once a month, 4-6 weeks (how do I tell it’s ready?), so I haven’t fed it yet. My husband has super worms for his bearded dragon- can we cut those (🤢😖) to size? Or should we stick with blood worms and mealworms?
1 me gustaSuperworms tend to be bigger and stronger and can lead to trap damage from excessive movement and they can chew thru the trap. They have a thicker exoskeleton compared to thin soft tissue of meal worms that are also higer in protein and nitrogen.
2 Me gustaThat’s so helpful, thank you!
