Hi Fern Friends, Does this look like a Japanese holly fern to you? Thatâs the closest ID the greenhouse employees and I came up with. The tag isnât specific. Iâve tagged my confirmed JHF for comparison. This new plantâs leaves are much softer/fleshier than mine, but that may be because theyâre not as mature?
It does look similar to the Japanese Holly fern you already have but the way the leaves come from the stem looks a bit different if that makes sense! And yours has black stems and this plant doesnât. It might be some kind of similar variety though!
0 gillningar When I scan your plants picture with Planta it does say that it is a Japanese holly fern, so this might just be what the immature version looks like!
