Hello friends, got a quick question. Do cats love ferns? I have a male who eats it like candy and a female to has taken up residency underneath.

    hello! my cat Hades ate almost my entire fern in one sitting so i had to move it to where he couldn’t reach! it seems like he likes ferns more than the other plants i have but he is VERY interested.

    In my experience, yes lol. Both my maidenhair and birds nest succumbed to cat munching. Probably depends on your specific cats but mine like most plants with floppy-like leaves, which many ferns have—I have to keep all spider plants up out of reach otherwise they will swat and munch. At least most ferns are non-toxic to cats!

      Spider plants are hallucinogenic for cats. My male likes to get high so I can’t have one. 🤣
