From my experience with spider mites, you’d have to check the soil. I get a flashlight, disturb the soil some and then watch for at least 1 minute. I’ve found it’s also easy to spot them by checking the inside of the pot. Easier to see sometimes. Yours could also just be a regular spider lol I’ve had that happen where I saw webbing on a plant, stomach flips over, watch soil, and find nothing. Then I watch some more just to make sure. If I still don’t see anything, I chalk the webbing up to a regular spider, brush off the webs, and keep an eye out to see if more webbing appears.

I learned today that it in fact is spores, tho the web still concerns me. I’ll keep an eye out, I’ve removed the web and now we wait
