I have a question about watering: Most of my plants I let get pretty dry before watering, but what do y’all do with ferns? Do you water when the soil is still a little damp? My ferns are a blue oil, bird’s nest, and crocodile.

    Ferns like to never completely dry out. To prevent rot, make sure they get good drainage, especially at the bottom of the pot. The rest of the soil should have good moisture retention, so mostly potting soil. You can add some sphagnum moss to your soil mix if it dries out too fast. For watering frequency, once or twice a week depending on exact species and growing conditions.
