It was a dying dull fern plant I got from a garden centre on a sale over a week ago in early March, thinking it would prosper with good care in my living room. Any tips and advice on how to mend this beautiful fern plant and make it look lively? 😇 I would highly appreciate any tips! Thank youuu🪴 stay cheerful 😊
I’m no fern expert but from what I’ve seen so far, they like the sun and they’re always thirsty! I know lots of people swear by filtered sunlight but the 2 ferns I have come from a mother plant who was well adjusted outside in the shade. My ferns are in the shade but in a very sunny location, and to help keep them damp I have a short layer of sphagnum moss at the base of the pot. She’s a real drama queen when she’s thirsty. I also give my ferns Jobes stick fertilizer that are high in nitrogen to help encourage new leaves. (I found the Jobes sticks at the dollar store and I swear by them on all my foliage plants) I hope some of this helps!! Good luck 🍀

I would repot in fresh moisture retaining potting soil, cut off and old or dried leaves and maintain consistent watering and morning sunlight. I’ve had that type of fern before and it grew really big. Have fun
