    Sadly, this happens to my ferns too! I have never been able to keep them looking happy and healthy in the house… I only bring mine in during the coldest months and they thrive outside in summer

    Looks to be from a combo of plant stress from letting it dry in between waterings, and also sunlight. At least that is what I have seen personally in mine. Thankfully these are very resilient. What has helped mine is not letting it dry in between waterings, so you’ll want the soil about 24-48 hrs from getting dry, and that is the perfect time to re-water. So just slightly moist still. For mine I think that is watering every 4-5 days, but that may be different for you. If you can improve the lighting at all too, even better, but I think the change in watering will make the biggest difference 🙌🏻

    Molly I have the same problem on one of my Boston ferns. The other one I have is starting to do that too you all thank you for the info. I hope this helps. Here's a picture of mine that is struggling.
